An Opening Letter from
our Club President........
Hi
there Oldsmobilers!
Welcome
to the Oldsmobile Club of Canada Website! Since it's beginnings in
1979, this club is now in it's 31st year mainly due to the large number of
volunteers who are truly dedicated to the preservation of the Oldsmobile
from 1897 to 2004. As you are aware, a corporate decision was made
by General Motors to eliminate the Oldsmobile division! I feel this
decision will only make our club stronger and its members more dedicated
towards the preservation of all Oldsmobiles ever made!
Our OCC members'
pride of ownership, to gather with our families, young & old, for friendship and
fun, and of course to admire our classic Oldsmobiles is what drives our club.
Our two-day Annual Canadian Oldsmobile Nationals has become a family affair, as we meet new members
and revisit with "olds" friends. Some OCC members travel
great distances, from
all parts of Canada and of course from south of the border, to join us in
Ontario every year! If you are an Oldsmobile Club of Canada Member,
then I personally thank you for joining! But if you are not an OCC
member, then here's your opportunity to become one!
